Northam identity dies

05 Nov, 2009 10:20 AM
ONE of Northam’s best-known identities Pat Enright died at the Avon Valley Hospice last Friday afternoon.

Pat was diagnosed with leukaemia earlier this year.

It would be an understatement to say that Pat, aged 93, lived a full life.

He was still winning at golf last season.

A life member of the Northam Race Club, Pat was involved in country racing at a State level.

He also has received the 50-Year Jewel as a member of the Masonic Lodge and recently helped install two grandsons into the craft.

Pat is survived by his wife Gertrude, son Patrick and daughter Lesley.

His funeral service will be held in St John’s Anglican Church, Northam next Monday.
